PURCHASING PROCESS
FROM START TO FINISH
From your first contact until the container arrives, here is what you can expect
1. Contact
After we receive you inquiry you will be contacted by the sales team. They will help you get your order started.
2. Choose Your Bicycles
We have a wide range of models and sizes available. The sales staff will take you through all of the options and you can select the exact mix that you need for your market. if required we can also supply B grade.
3. Deposit
Once we have agreed on the goods for your container, it is time for the deposit. Once we have confirmed your 50% deposit Used Japanese Bicycles can arrange the booking and schedule to load your container.
4. Loading
Usually within 2 weeks of the deposit being received the bicycles will be loaded. This is done by experienced professionals to ensure nothing is damaged during loading and transit. We will make sure that the absolute maximum number of bicycles is loaded to help with shipping and other costs for you.
5. Departure
Once the container is loaded it is transported to the port. All of the customs clearance and domestic export processes are handled for you here. This is all included in the FOB prices we negotiate with you. Within about 1 week maximum of departure we will receive the Bill of Lading copy and send it to you to check.
6. Balance Payment
After the container is loaded and we know the prices number of unit's that we were able to load, we will send you the final invoice to show the confirmed value. Once the container has departed, we will send you the draft BL copy to check and it is time for the balance payment. If everything is OK with the BL as written when the payment is confirmed we will surrender the BL.
7. Arrival
Depending on location, this should be within 2 weeks to 2 months.
